It all came together this morning at Chouet. My first three colour ringed gulls were all foreign-ringed Lesser Black-backed Gulls :- Blue DKV from Gloucester, England (Severn Estuary Gull Group), Red 83F from Flintshire, Wales (Ian Spence), and Blue G.LAN from Belgium (Eric Stienen). Incredibly a fourth foreign LBBG was also spotted Red 0AF from Flatholm, Wales (Brian Bailey). In addition I managed to find 22 of my own cr LBBGs - including ten birds recorded back for the first time this spring (six of which had been seen in Iberia over the winter).

Blue DKV was sighted in Madrid in the previous winter.
