Yesterday's very nice surprises at Chouet and Pembroke, Guernsey (respectively) were Lesser Black-backed Gulls Orange K:A (ringed by Peter Rock as a chick in Bristol, England in July 2000) and Orange E104 (ringed as a chick in July 1995 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands by Norman Van Swelm).

An adult Yellow-legged Gull was at Chouet landfill Beach (until a helicopter flew over!) and the very leucistic Great Black-backed Gull was on L'Ancresse Common.
Amngst several long-staying young French cr Great Black-backed Gulls at Chouet was Blue 95D (a bird ringed as a chick at Le Havre, Seine-Maritime, France by Gilles Le Guillou in June 2009).
