White 6.T8 ringed as an adult female on 06/06/09 at Chouet landfill and recorded on 3rd and 15th July 2009 before disappearing to (unknown) wintering grounds;
White 9.T5 originally ringed on 09/07/1992 as a chick on Burhou, Alderney and caught at Chouet landfill on 04/06/09 (when we added the colour ring). Recorded once more on 31 July 2009 before disappearing for (unknown) wintering grounds;

E 14932 ringed as an adult male on 18/05/08 in our garden at Ty Coed. I read this ring on Chouet landfill Beach on 30 April 2009.
The other Lesser Black-backed Gulls seen already this year were White 7S6, 5.Z7, 8.Z0 and E 4421.

A total of 78 colour-ringed Herring Gulls was recorded - all local except one from Jersey (Green ABD) (Ian Buxton) and one known bird from Gloucester, England Blue BHC Peter Stewart).
