Wonderful weekend with gulls

The past weekend had a little of everything. Lesser Black-backed Gulls settled well on Chouet Landfill Beach on Friday - where amongst the local birds were a couple of foreign colour-ringed birds. Pale Green 4WF had been ringed as a chick on Flat Holm, Cardiff, Wales on 02/07/06 (Brian Bailey), while Yellow AG was ringed as a pullus in June 2007 at Moerdijk, The Netherlands (Roland-Jan Buijs).
